You care to go into more detail on some of those parts. You can PM me about the second one. If you don't want to share with the rest of the class that is...

"And his girlfriend looks exactly like him, after pulling the Hannibal maneuver that is."

I'm going to be another uber-geek and ask what he bought you in the way of Magic cards. A couple of boxes, or $300 of singles? Yes, I play Magic too.

Why waste money on Magic cards when Warhammer looks so much cooler?

Too bad I don't play any of them...

Because Warhammer is always expensive. Magic is, conceivably, much cheaper. Of course, it depends on how serious you are, but for like $10 you can get yourself a pre-made deck and play with that for quite a while. $10 will get you 3 plastic figurines if you're lucky in Warhammer. Then you've got to paint them and 100 other guys like them. Then you've got to find someone to play against.

    2003 POSTS!

Yeah I still have a ton of Eldar I've owned since I was 12. I moved and no one played in the area where I moved, so I figured it was pointless to continue, so I put that shit in my closet, and that was that.

I own an entirely unpainted Space Hulk set.

I'm just making up for the fact that I missed whatever my 2000th was, so when I realized, I added a note to my 2003rd one.

    2004!

Do I get a custom avatar yet?

You are one of those people, like nbrosz, that posts at such a massive rate that you rack up a lot of posts without becoming the seasoned, wisened HoL veteran that you get a custom avatar for.
(Or, more likely, people actually just get custom avatars as a lark)

and hey, at least you get a somewhat custom avatar, not like in my day when you were given one based on the number of posts you had, and you liked it. And you walked to school 42 miles in the snow at -30K uphill both ways.

    Damn, no longer 666.

    Hahaha.

Whatever, I've been posting for more than a year. If I'm obnoxious its not because I'm a noob, its because I'm obnoxious. Yeah, I was around back when we had the post#=your avatar thing going on.

That's good to know because I was about to start something. You're lucky I held myself back.

Well, I know I don't make custom avatars. Only DU, Milo and nbrosz (aka xento) ever really did that. And they rarely post anymore. Actually, the only person I'd be inclined to give a custom avatar to anymore would be Canis, but she hasn't indicated she wants one so...

It's more of a practical matter: I couldn't think of one I'd like to be stuck with, and I wasn't willing to let these yahoos decide for me. Actually I think if you do a search of my posts you'll find that I once told Retard that I didn't want one, so I'm rather bound by that.

I did appreciate the offer though. :)

I know if I ever get the chance I'll take it and I'll make my own avatar.
