I just installed the ship mod yesterday and today i decided to sail to the isle of dispair to finish up some quests that i'd left behind. I've done that but now i can't leave, it says "the ship is not under your control" or something like that and i can't teleport out.

    Any suggestions?

Did you install the hack before you started playing or when you were already playing through the main game?

Did you sail to the island with Bates' man (Captain Teach?) or did you sail in your own ship?
From what I understand the ship which appears on the island is not one you can control because the Captain should be onboard and you have to ask him to sail it for you. If you sail there without him then you are stuck as only he can sail you back. I think you're screwed, I'm afraid.

This bug probably happened by adding a mod to a game already made. Thus messing up some local/global flags.

The solution is either to set some flags correctly in your savegame manually by 'hacking' or start over I am afraid.

I installed the Sinbad's Ship's Cabin & Cargo Hold with Composite Fixes using the link through Terra-Arcanum. I used stringy petes boat (which i own) to sail to the isle of dispair. In the game itself I am supossed to be looking for the dark elves.

Good for you. Now why did you say that?
