Thank you for your recommendations Gross. I agree that arguing with and insulting women is a pointless endeavor, and will always come back to haunt you. Well deserving knuckleheads like Mr. Quincy on the other hand...

First off, nobody invited you. Your droll and crass remarks are on par with some adolescent nerd spanking himself to a lingerie catalog thinking he's found the real thing. Then you come around here sticking your fat nose wherever, like some rabid, flea infested mongrel dog in heat sniffing at random crotches, all the while spewing insults like a cross-eyed bag lady.
But I understand, you have no friends and nobody will talk to you, so you have to resort to lashing out at strangers like a deranged bum with
tourettes-syndrome. Not to worry though, I hear they make medication for that now.

Ahem. If I may but in with a question related to the Isle of Despair...I really want to give Ogdin Big Fist a book since it ends up being a quest mentioned in my journal. Can I give him any old book (like a tech manual) or does it have to be a specific one?

The one that the quest mentions.

It's in the barrel next to Teach's ship in Ashbury

Ah, ok. Now the question is how do I get to it without ticking Teach off? I tried doing it at night and using a Fate Point for the lock pick and Teach attacked me. I even went so far to knocking the lights out with a boomerang. I got it so the dockworker doesn't get alarmed but I can't get by Teach.

Go and talk to him from behind, so he turns around and is facing the water rather than the dock.

Or you can use the unlock cantrip spell if you stand far away enough.

    **blinks in shock**

Getting him to turn around actually works? Wow that is shocking. I don't think I ever would have thought of that since I thought he would hear me while I was lockpicking. Thank you.

I wonder whether the dockworker/guard standing there notices you as well.

Pfft. Whack. Whack is just another word for off. And I'll be damned if i'm gonna let a dock worker whack me off.

Yeah, but it's not like she stays with you, is it? She just runs off, saying something stupid like 'thank you!'

Also: I didn't have a clue one is able to teleport to Thanatos/Half Ogre Island. I seriously thought one couldn't teleport to spaces overseas. Thanks, mister Vorak.

The only places you can't teleport to are Tsen Ang and the Isle of Despair, right?

Unless you're hacked, I don't think you can teleport to The Isle of Despair and the game actually provides a reason as to why. In the Tarant library, there's a book in there that explains this along with a couple of "theories." One being a large mithril deposit and the other being hidden technology under the ground.

As for Thanatos and T'sen Ang, I never tried; however, for T'sen Ang, I imagine you can teleport to Qintarra and just walk the rest of the way.

If there is hidden technology.....it would make for an interesting place to insert a MOD.

You can teleport to Thanatos, I just did it yesterday. Just try to teleport there with either a scroll of teleport or by casting it.
