As the subject line states, is there any Anaesthesizer to be found in the game? I want to try out the tranquilizer gun but I cannot find this component in the game and I really don't want to invest seven points into the chemistry disicipline unless I absolutely have to.

I apologize in advance if this has already been asked. I did use the Search button but didn't come up with anyting. I also used Google and Prima guide with no luck either. I am also patched if that makes a difference with this particular item.

I never found any in the game, but I don't remember making any either, even though I'm a hardcore techie.
    EDIT
To get anaesthetizer, you have to spend the 7 points in chemistry. Sorry. I was right about not making any, though; I never had a use for making people fall asleep.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards that. Right now, I'm having my character use his pickpocket skill to look at what NPCs are carrying. So far I found some neat looking guns, swords, staves, scrolls, strong poison, hallucinite, and a couple wonder drugs but no anaesthesizer.

Yeah, pickpocketing is fun. I've never found anything too useful on anyone, except one time I found a hand cannon on someone in tarant. Of course, it was another pickpocket, who stole the handcannon from ME in the first place. He didn't last too long...

The pickpocket master in Tarant is armed with a Hand Cannon, he didn't steal it. For some strange reason whenever he trains me it appears in my inventory, not that I'm complaining.

Edit: Welcome, RagingCalm, to HoL! :bunny:

Now you're authority with custom avatar and rank, and you are suitable for telling rnewbies our rules. Some time ago newbie instructor was Blinky, but now he is too cool for that

I know he has a handcannon, but the pickpocket I'm talking about is one of the random guys that runs into you in Tarant. I had a handcannon, he stole it, then I ran up to him to pickpocket HIM not knowing he had stolen anything from me, and when I saw the handcannon, I killed him.

That was kind of funny. I would probably've done the same.

Thank you, it's good to be here. And with that said, where would I find this inventory hack? If I remember correctly, this makes getting schematics tons easier since I'm having hell trying to get the pyrotechnic axe, goggled helmet, and clockwork physician schematics.

I have. I've waited for close to 50 days (chekcing each day) at least and they still haven't made them available. Usually, I found them with no problem but this time around, they just aren't making themselves available.

Wow. If your current game is being that fickle, then go to fileplanet and download the "savegame editor v1.8"
With it, you can chance any schematic that you've learned (like bullets) into any other schematic (like the clockwork decoy). Basically, find a couple copies of an easy to obtain schematic, save your game, quit, change the schematic to something new in the editor, then open up your save game and learn the copy schematic.

Sorry if this counts as gravedigging but I've tried taking Gross' suggestion and go to fileplanet to download the editor. Unfortunately, I really don't want to pay for a subscription for something I won't use often so would it be too much to ask somebody to e-mail either this and/or the inventory hack?

Well, you don't really need to pay anything. There's a free membership too, but if you want the savegame editor, I'll email it to you. I don't have the inventory hack, however.

Hmmm...I'll have to look again since I didn't see a free membership just a bunch of subscriptions. My e-mail is ragingcalm4u@hotmail.com. Thank you.

The Editor is working splendidly and I finally got to build the clockwork physician that I wanted to try. Thanks, Gross. By the way, where do you find these pickpockets? I'm trying to find one so I can get apprenticed and I can't find the buggers.
