Alright, I'm planning on making a mage thrower, and I want to know if strength is in any way needed for this. Also, this just popped into my head. If I use the Aerial Decapitator with a high magickal apptitude, will it increase my chance of critically failing? Thanks.
You don't need strenght. All you need is DEXTERITY.I suggest to invest one point to fire(aligity of fire)which will increase your DEX. And I may suggest to you to put some points to morph college-spell weaken which will "soft" your enemies.
Yea, I was planning on investing 1 CP in Fire and 3 in Temporal, so that should give me simply insane speed, and I'll look in to weaken as well. So I am right in assuming that strength does not give a damage boost? Also, I'd still like to know about the Aerial Decapitator (whether it increases failure % or not). Thanks for the help.
I think strength increases damage for throwers, but you don't need it if you have the decapitator. I love the decapitator! It makes all your enemies go away.
Strength doesn't add damage to thrown weapons or bows oddly enough. The only time ST affects damage is when your throwing non-weapons. You can throw anything you can put into your inventory. Perception affects the to hit penalty for range. But once you hit Master any points into perception would just be wasted unless you plan on having other PE based skills.
Just in case you didn't know, the aerial decapitator is located with the old blind master (not the dodge one) in a "secret" location which you can find on the terra-arcanum's location bank. And watch out for accidentally hitting your own guys with it in a rough fight-not kosher...
On the other hand, they should have enough smarts not to get in my way when I'm throwing that thing around. Come on guys, think, it's not that hard, don't put yourself in the path of an aerial decapitator and then start bitching at me cuz you get hurt. Dumbassess...sheeesshh!!!
