Is Geoferry Ashe a monster?

I seem to have stumbled into a spike trap of a glitch in Arcanum. Everytime I talk to an NPC with Geoferry Ashe in my party, they give me the 'Look out behind you!' speech that is associated with undead creatures behind you.

This didn't start until after the Black Mountain quest.. any suggestions?

 

On your question regarding Geoffrey, I heven't encountered that glitch before, BTW have u installed the latest Patch??

I did play a multiplayer game the other day, so that means I have the patch, right? How do I check the version of Arcanum?

 

Im not sure, since I haven't played Multi yet. About the version, its on the lower left of the start menu (not so sure).. Sorry for my sketchy info, haven't played the game for a while now.. :sad:

Zaphir, I've encountered that problem with Geoffry, too. I think it's because he's so magical. I had the same thing happen with Jormund.
Does it happen everywhere, or just Tarant?
Because Tarant is kind of intolerant toward Magick.

It happens everywhere I'm afraid. I'll probably just have to end up stop using Ashe since I'm kind of... smitten for that Dark Elf (forget her name).
