Iron Key disappearing

Or should I say, not appearing?! Every time I combine the Heartstone and Mythril, the result is nothing. There isn't an Iron Key in my inventory.

I'm playing with the official patch + Drog's patch + the addons. I didn't want to post this in Drog's bug thread, since I'm not so sure that the problem is in his patch. If I'm not mistaken, I've encountered this bug before.

P. S. I used the search also, and didn't find any threads regarding this.

 

Isn't it possible just to use a fate point to open the iron chest?

An old sed cammand. Means substitue "ur" with "your".

The Iron key hasn't got any unique art at all. It goes straight to the keyring. Mine did.

 

It has unique art, of that I'm sure. As for the keyring thing, I'll check that out when I come home today.

Anyways, I used the fate point, but this is supposed to be the right way.

 

The Iron key goes to the keyring. However, if you don't have one, you can see that the key has unique art.
