    Major spoilers ahead:

Other than Nocturnus' "Guide to Being Evil "http://www.rpgplanet.com/arcanum/questinfo/evilwalkthrough.shtml there isn't much discussion I could find about what is and is not possible taking the evil path (joining the dark elves). Here's what I've found:

(I'm talking from running the patched game, 1.0.7.4)

When faced with the choice of joining the dark elves, I was worried that many quests would not be obtainable. Turns out I was mostly wrong.

You can't get Raven to join through dialog or use of fate points (dominate will/reflection shield may work...) or do anything else in Quintarra other than kill the inhabitants.

I don't know what happens if you kill the inhabitants of T'Sen-Ang.

You can do most of the good path: learn about Nasrudin, learn about Mannox, go to Thanatos, go into Tulla (invited in after talking to Nasrudin, rather than fighting your way in and being attacked by everyone). I haven't tried to see who shows up at the ring when you have the Vendigroth Device - K’an Hua, or Nasrudin or both(!?).

You cannot tell Alexander about Mannox etc.

Killing K’an Hua immediately teleports you into the void.

You can most (all?) of the other subquests on the way: enter the Iron Clan cave, Stringey Pete quests for the boat, etc.[/url]

Tried it out. Both show up in a surprising way. This is the first indication I found that the evil path was designed to allow for a change of heart.

So, though the evil path can be played per walkthrough's such as Nocturnus', there the game was designed to allow plenty of options for taking up "good" quests to find items, get experience, etc.

You can agree wholehartedly to do the Stillwater quest or lie about it. The only difference seems to be, if you agree, Raven won't speak to you again. You can lie about your intentions about Stillwater to Min & still do the deed & join up. Raven will not join an evil PC either way. Untill you fulfill the Stillwater quest, you can walk the good plotline. Afterward, many people will not speak to you, & many quests cannot even be obtained.

No, that's the point of this thread. Only a few quests are unobtainable because of joining on with the Dark Elves. They are: quests from NPCs in Stillwater (after you've killed them all), quests from NPCs in Qintarra (though I haven't tried the lying option), and dialog (and quests?) related to telling Alexander about Mannox.

Of course, it is very hard to get you alignment back up to something that doesn't prevent other quests and dialog...
