Any indie games worth checking out?
I've got a few to note, I suppose.

Have you guys heard about Project Zomboid?
It's an isometric zombie survival RPG/sim written in Java that's still in early development:

I bought it, it's still buggy as heck but worth checking out I believe.
You can do a load of things from building, barricading, planting crops, crafting weapons and of course, killing zombies and dying.
Food, sleep and many other factors play a large role in survival.

Unsure if you guys know about GameJolt or not. http://gamejolt.com/
It's a great place to see really new underground indie games emerge.

Being an indie gamer myself, there is a bunch i can mention right now...

    -Dwarf Fortress
The master of all simulation, really overwhelming for new and intermediate players, but nothing that a tileset, some spare time and relaxing music can't fix.
Great loads of fun and frustration, but great nonetheless, and remember kids, "losing is fun!".

    -Clivan
A mod/expansion of the roguelike IVAN, offers a great customization and a very solid graphical combat system, one of those games where you can lose an arm and proceed to use it as your weapon.

    -Fotonica
    -Elona
    -Dungeon crawl stone soup.

These are the ones on top of my mind, might add more later.

Yeah I've seen DwarfFortress, looks rather fun I suppose and full on however.
I'm not currently in the mood for playing some RogueLikes, but I did get into Cataclysm for a while, and have been helping the maker of DoomRogueLike with his AlienRogueLike, which is said to have a tileset soon, which I helped with.

    • World of Goo.

    • Probably anything by Amanita Design. So far I played Samorost, Samorost 2, Machinarium and Botanicula, each has my recommendation.
