Intriguing Art Thread

I was searching for the most vile image, but this piece of art stood out. It was like I was being watched by the eyeless face in preparation for a virtuous keyboard solo.


Interesting side note, those pigs are skinned, the resulting dermis sold as art. Yes, people tattoo pigs.

What kinds of art strike you as, well...art?

 

Anything that has been made in purpose of creating art is art.

Then there's the question of wether it's good or bad, if it's ok or tasteless, and all those other definitions. Tatooing pigs and skinning them to make art is a bit tasteless in my opinion. It's still art, though, if that's what it was produced to be.

 

You can say that but I was more hoping those who replied would post some of their favorites.
And I agree that the pig thing is a bit off, but it meets demand.

Either or. Funny how there's a way I think my posts will go, when ultimately it depends on the reader.
