Intel potions force NPC skill points on tech when leveling?

    Just wondering if you know you are going to level can you use a Intel potion on a npc and fool them into spending skill points on tech skills? anyone Know? do they spend points in a if then fashion or are there points distributed along a set pattern?

    most of the companions raise their stats to get more spells but so far only magmus on my team has tech so he probably raises his stats to raise tech so I think it's possible to fool them into not raising the primary stats to raise tech
