    I was planning to join the arcane in-crowd when I created my wonderful little country, but I forgot what the gang was called...

    And then everyone and his uncle started inviting me to whatever factions, so I just picked the one that sent a girl to invite me.

    Hence I'm in GATO, as far as I know. Haven't done anything for them, they haven't done anything for me.

    Just thought I'd explain my heresy in failing to join this bunch.

    When I first started I was with another alliance. I told them I came across a group of friends at another alliance and respectfully withdrew my membership. Everybody was fine with it, and now I'm an ambassador to that same allaince.

    GATO are fairly reasonable, they're the oldest alliance of all and the reason they've lasted this long is because they are always willing to listen. Just give them a plausible reason and they should be fine with it.

    I wish the NPO were that.......reasonable. I am in a pickle because I formally resigned my membership and yet I still have access to the forum where only members are allowed.
