I really need some help!

Hello I'll start saying, I'm new to this forum so Hello! :lol:

Ok here's my problem:

I found the Ring of Shadows which is cursed and grants the wielder invisibility. Unfortunately I didn't know I would continue being invisible after I took it off...Now I'm running around invisible and can't talk to everyone, because they are scared and believe they hear voices.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this? (And no..I don't have a save game before that, even though I save alot)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

First, welcome to the forum.

I don't remember where I got the Ring of Shadows, but looking over the scripts makes me susptect that there may be a bug in them. Still, that effect may be deliberate and part of the cursed effect.

You could try using the Disperse Magic spell on yourself and see if that works to get rid of the invisibility effect because it should disperse the effects of all magic on the target. You might want to take off any magical items that you don't want to ruin before casting the spell and put them in a safe place near by. I'm not sure if that spell will affect just you or if it will also affect anything you are currently wearing and holding, too. It should just affect you as the target, but I tend to be a bit paranoid about these things after getting burned a few times. :lol:

Hehe, thanks alot for the replies.
But I found out how to get rid of it.
I had to wear i until It fatigued me, then drink Morganas Tear potion (While I was fatigued.I had to Right click it) and quickly take off the ring.
Hehe...Either it's a part of the curse or it's a bug.
