You DO realise that's what the quote function is there for don't you? It's there so that you can quote people and answer them and everyone know who you are talking to or about and what bit of their post you are referring to. Otherwise you have to write really long and tedious explanations of what you are talking about, especially if someone has posted inbetween your post and the reply. If you don't then people have to scroll through and see what you are talking about and that's even more tedious.

In short, I'm not going to stop quoting you if quoting you aids me in my posting.

Chlamydia, very few people here are serious at any point in time. As Ferret said, lighten up, and you'll have a much better time. People often believe that I'm serious, but for the most part I'm not.

It's proof of your seriousness that you all have taken my last three in this thread seriously. I mean, SERIOUSLY!

 

Well, the trouble with writing is that inflection is impossible. That's what the smilies are there for. Use them. Otherwise noone can tell if you're serious or not.

Also, writing words of a serious nature in capitals in order to emphasize them is not a good idea if don't mean to be serious. You have lots yet to learn about using the English language it seems.
