I've lived by farms all my life, been surrounded by fields of maize for 12 years and seen goodness knows how many harvest. You DO NOT harvest maize by massaging it along it's length. :lol:

 

I HAVE harvested corn and I have NEVER done that.

 

I usually don't molest the corn before I eat it... It ruins the flavor

 

Unless you're possibly doing it with butter.

 

Rubbing vigorously with butter always makes things taste better.

This forum is very strange. What started as unabashed grovelling at the pretty girl moderator's feet, has become a discussion about the proper way to stroke hot buttery corn for the harvest. American or Dutch, you're all up to something! Personally I'm partial to Jarinor anyway, he's not afriad to show people their shortcomings, and with so many shortcomings here, he is doing a huge service to this community. I think Snowmane made fun of me once or something, she seems to keep a pretty low profile. Not that I'm without temptation. So then, let us all lie happily prostrate before the goddes that is Snowmane, faceless avatar of computer wisdom, the prettiest of pretty girl moderators; somebody massage my corn so I can sow some seeds!
