I'd mount it on a wall and pull the trigger with a guide-wire. At best it would tear the ligaments in my wrist...at worst it would shatter all the bones therein.
Seriously, if you know the recoil on a custom-made "street sweeper", the recoil in this would be insane.
I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of 75-80 foot pounds of recoil torque.

Ever seen a gun barrel after it was fired while obstructed? Not a pretty picture. Just remember, you've got a lot of expanding gas trying to escape through a very small hole, which is obstructed by whatever you're trying to project down the barrel, be it bullet or shot. so as long as the chamber is sound (removal of the barrels may have caused cracks, depending upon how they were removed) the path of least resistance should be down the barrel. If the camber is not sound, or just isn't of heavy enough construction, all that expanding gas could blast it apart.

So unless you happen to have a flourescent penetrant inspection kit, I wouldn't try it.
