Bree - the doctors have known me since I was a kid and it happens that I've becomegood friends with them over the years. They know me well enough to know that as long as I have a book and a drink I'm happy to deal with anything they throw at me.

Besides, why the HELL would I want to be a doctor? I don't want that kind of responsibility. One mistake and you've killed someone, gotten sued and imprisoned, and you've never got a chance in hell to get a decent job again.

I was offered a scholarship to Sydney University (the university putting out some of the most brilliant researchers and doctors in the world, thankyoueversoverymuch), but I turned it down to pursue my writing and to stay with my family.

Maybe YOU should have done the same thing. At least then you wouldn't have poured salt in that poor woman's wounds and then called her a whore for all to see. Better hope she never comes here or you're so gonna get sued for defamation.

 

Actually it's not defamation since she's not a public persona in any way, nor would she have a professional image to uphold, it might actually help getting the word out. It is libel since it's unsubstantiated with proof.

Your problem in this whole thread Van, is that you wan't to know to much.

In Xiao's first post she says that she dosn't wanna talk about it, but yet you manage to ask her two times, and both times quite rude.

And then you are getting all childish and "OMG I don't care even though I asked".

And that dosn't seem very inteligent to me. And it annoying. Just for your information.

Whatever the case, I'm glad to see that the gang I started with is back together.
It's been just over a year for me, sure, but I like coming back and seeing familiar faces. Regardless of how crabby they may be.
