I just die all the time

I've just started playing and the only thing I can kill is a rat or a wolf. Everything else takes for ever, the only way I managed to polish off the thieves by the shrouded hills bridge was by hiding some dynamite and then making them chase me so they were standing over it when it exploded. It took very careful timing and was quite exhausting. Every time I walk into a bar some maniac attacks me and KICKS my ass, especially the poisoner in the inn in Dernholm.

Help. What weapons should I have early on - what armour - how do I fight poison?

well, dont tell people that your from the crash early on, and do lots of none fighting quests to build up your level and strengh, you'll get used to it

 

Try fighting on turn based, what stats have you got.
