It's all relative. My dad's 5'4", so you're taller than him...and the vast majority of people shorter than 5'6".

Standing straight up with proper gentleman posture I'm 5'11 3/4" wet, an even 6' dry.

 

I suppose I could squiggle another 1/4 inch out of the painful posture exercise.

 

I have a friend who is 5'0" and she's tiny. Compared to me at least.

Look on the bright side though, it's much easier for you to fit in a suitcase than for I.
