I can't wait THAT long

I've tried making a module of my own, I built it up, and learned a few basics along the way from a World editor manual(which some of the details within it, I can't find in the world editor, possibly mine is out of date or something?) I built up a small town, a nice mansion to the north of it, but when I go play it I just had a long black screen after I go past the Creation shop thing... After some tweaking(something about the "lighting Scheme"), I load it up again, This time I get the HUD but the map is pitch black with the words "please wait" in the center, I wasn't much for waiting, especially since its not like any of the OTHER modules do that, so I exited, and am at a standstill as I can't possibly contemplate what it may be. as for the map, I've no quests yet , a few custom named banners and NPCs, which WILL be quests later, but for now I just want the place to appear cause I'm a trial and error kinda guy, and prefer to play each step I make... Anyone know why the module I'm making doesn't seem to wanna play right? I have a start location but that's really ALL I did besides the custom descriptions or custom names...And I compress it like the manual says each time I try to test it.

Do I need to do something else as well?

 

Did you wrote your start location in MapList.mes? Because that may be the cause of having a black screen.

 

actually after getting a COMPLETELY black screen I proceeded to do that, then it became the "please wait" black screen, but this was a while ago, perhaps I'll try to do it again maybe I entered the wrong thing in the Maplist.mes
