Jayna Sucks, you mean... She's not worth her engaging one follower slot. And consider this, what's the problem with Virgil using the bandages on himself? The more skilled he gets, the less bandages he uses, so there's plenty for everyone. ^_^.

If he gained skill by practice, and if bandages were infinite, I wouldn't have a problem at all. :)

Similarly, if Jayna would gather her own components and make healing supplies without my micromanagement, I wouldn't have a problem there either.

Well, if they didn't need you, why would they want to be with you?

Jayna puts point in dexterity, which makes her most effective in combat: I like to give her a Balanced Sword. Moreover, her drugs are extremely valuable for tech characters. Just change her portrait and she's fine.

hehe i agree, for a character that wastes so many points in beauty... she sure hurts the eyes.

If I have to micromanage her healing components, then let me micromanage her points expenditure when levelling, darn it! :) And control her actions in combat.

A shame she wasn't voiced. That'd make it easier for me to dump Virgil in my Lugard Bloodstone game. (I'm determined to play through with that dwarf, one of these days.)

I really wish Virgil was a free companion, rather than taking up a follower slot.

for a techie, nothing beats the med arachnid as a healer, it even heals your non-tech followers with 0 FT cost to it, but of course it is a bit slow and rather crappy at combat since its HP is real low. but u hafta trade off somewhere right? ;)

If I can ever get a technologist to Maxim for the freebie, or install the fixed schematic and build my own, then yes, a medical arachnid would be nice.

The healing jacket might be good as well, if my technologist is using mundanes (here mundane meaning anyone of neutral or magical bent :) ) as meat shields, relying on the healing jacket to top up hit points when some critter does get through.
