i can not find the piller of truth

i can not find the piller of truth, i have been down that damn mine so many times i have walked every square foot in the room containing Gnumond Ore Bender. is it a glitch. i can not proceed with the game, any further i have done almost all of the side missons. i love this game, and would like to continue any help would be appreciated.

 

You know where the three stairwells are located? I believe you need to take the middle one, then proceed all the way north, into the throne room. Take the door further north, then go east. You're now on a long, winding, treacherously trapped passageway, that will only end when you get to the Pillar of Truth.

is ist in the room with the dwarf? i went all the way down the long hall way past the fire, into the room with the dwarf, there is a pile of rocks in the center of the room, a dwarf, a fire, a mine cart, but no pillar or any thing the curser will highlight or recognize.

 

Are you patched? The pillar in the middle of the room is the Pillar of truth.

 

patched? i downloaded a update when i first installed the game, i could not get past the opening load. do i need to get a patch to proceed?

 

If you found Gudmund Ore Bender you CAN'T possibly miss the Pillar of Truth, even if you are not patched. I ALWAYS play unpatched, as I don't have a choice. Its right behind Gudmund, in the middle of the room.

 

its not there i see a pile of rocks were it should be, is there any thing i can do to fix this or cheat around it to proceed with the game. or better yet could you tell me how to get to the other sid e of the contanent that would at least give me something new to see and play.

You most likely have an incomplete installation. Try running the repair feature and then, that failing, do a complete reinstallation.

EDIT: By "running the repair feature" I mean "stick the install disk into your drive and choose the repair option". Just to be clear.
