Humanity needs something. I say we need a plague. With all the overcrowding on Earth, and the damage we are doing to the environment, a plague to take 1 or 2 billion (preferably 2) off the top of our current population seems the ideal way to whittle the numbers down some, so the rest can enjoy the fruits of theirs and the Earth's labours for many more years to come.

Before you all start telling me how crazy I am, think about it. How much better would it be if 1 in every 3 people just wasn't there any more? Life would be so much better for everything all round - the environment, the animals and the survivors (although only 1 in 3 people won't be there anymore, which I consider to be pretty good odds). Sure, economically we might suffer, but hey, there'll be jobs for everyone.

Short of that, every country needs to turn pure Communist.

I shall also refrain from voting.

If not a plague or similar, somethings going to have to happen.
Maybe just a one child policy like China. Its going to happen soon, the whole selective breeding maybe. The growth at the moment cant be sustained for long so if someting dosnt do it then we could in the way of

If humanity doesn't have enough room, the something it needs is obviously more room. Since we're theorising fantastic solutions, I'm going to go with colonising the moon.

I think I'd prefer a solution that doesn't have a significant chance of me being exterminated. I'm just not sure being killed so someone else has more space to do their thing is going to work out for me. I know, I know, it's this kind of obstructiveness that will put me right to the top of the list of people to be killed ...

As a right-thinking member of the Regime, I naturally voted for the whole world to turn communist and be united under your rule.

Well, a plague is too depressing and has too good a chance of taking out more people than you want it too, and i enjoy my freedom, so i dont like the idea of communism, have to go with colonizing another planet. Or perhaps just a war to eradicate all communism.
