How to create the strongest melee characer

Here is the recipe for my fave character:
Race - Human
Background - Escaped Lunatic

In order the gain the highest possbile AC and damage, you will want to raise STR, DEX to the max, but CON can be neglected. It is also essential that you get a min of 19 in INT, so that you can create the Elite Plate Mail, which is a req for the Machined Plate ( Which rocks ) You dont need to put points into any other skills with the exception of heal, melee, and dodge. All other tech skills for creating the pyro axe are not req due to MOST helpful tech manuels that are sold in Tarant.

My character at the end of the game has 95% Damage Resistance, which WOULD have higher but the game caps at 95%. Max damage i have taken since then is 2 hps. I have a MR of 70% due to the Flow Disrupter and the necklace the fortune teller in tarant had (name?)

Early on, the game is pretty tough. Everyone hates you, and it is fairly difficult to do quests unless you enjoy kissing up to everyone.

However, at the end of the game when i sacked all the cities, it was all worth it =)

What cities?

 

Kinda reminds me of that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark when Harrison Ford comes across this big ninja guy who's showing off his prowess with a sword, and Indy just picks up his gun and shoots him.

 

an other real powerhouse is an half-orc or half ogre fighter mage

just get spells that protects you, and helps you bash people

good schools are the temporal school

and the first spells in the elemental schools

and perhaps some white necromancy
