Wow, there's a big f***ing surprise. A parent who doesn't prevent their child from viewing mature content.

It's funny how parents are horrified at the though of their children watching R-rated porn, but R-rated violence is okay.

 

In turkey,Mature rated stuff is easy to find 'coz %99 of the gaming bazaar is in the hands of illegal copies.But I bought Arcanum 'coz it's worth it.

I just checked my Arcanum box and the rating says 11+ , I just LOVE being scandinavian as we don´t have that much in the way of sensorship.

that you can get a job and drive at 15? permit is 16 where i live... same with most jobs (you can bag at a supermarket, bus tables, and do farmwork at 15 in Connecticut) im 18 btw.. since i never posted on this thread before.

Well, I'm only 13 and 6 months. In Thailand no one gives a shit about ESRB ratings. Anyway, I'm not surprised to see only older (and wiser) people play quality games like Arcanum.

 

We don't get to drive until 18 here. On the upside, we can drink whatever the hell we want from 16 on, and get to take advantage of this country's fine tradition of legalized marijuana. :smile:

hum i am in california too, u cant smoke marijuanna tho...or deal. i dont work for one reason - i have no idea what would i use my money on... i get allowance, and it's storing up in my table, just resting there.

 

Just cuz there's a law about it doesn't make it legal. Heh heh.
What happened is that the law was judged unconstitutional by the SUpreme Court (apparently there's an Ammendment about drugs), but anyway it's only legal for hospitals and doctors, not individual consumption.

Nope, my guess is that there´s at least 2 different ones. 1 for sale in the USA and 1 for sale in the EU(and the rest of europe?).
Anyway, I´ve got the EU box version with rating marker from ELSPA(some european organisation?) and a technical support phone number for some where in England.

 

Well, actually it's not *exactly* legal, it's just that it's being tolerated: the government doesn't mind hasj bars selling marijuana as long as they stick rigidly to some clearly-defined rules (you won't get into one without proper identification, for instance, and there's a limit on how much you can buy).

 

yeah but the being the drug a "common" commodity, anyone can buy it since it cheap.
and the mafia looses too.
