How much Large Armour is there in the game?

Hi, I'm pretty new to Arcanum (I've had the game ages, but never played it for some reason, which is strange because I love stuff in this type of setting). I'm trying a Half-Ogre character but I'm running into pretty major problems in that there appears to be nothing but large leather armour in the game for the burly gent. Other than some of the suits (manservant, nice suit, etc) I mean. Is it possible to make large armour if there is none to find? If so I might start over as a Half-ogre technologist type.
