I'm on 5 different prescription meds right now, and I think that might be a lot.
I'm really just curious as to how many meds you guys are taking.
There's no need to tell what it is you're taking, just the amount of prescriptions you currently have.

    Just some vitamins.

I stay away from that heavy stuff, it just causes you to get strung out and addicted to curing the side-effects of the first meds with more meds. Its a viscious circle man, quit while you can.

(You think 'old people' are really old? They're just 20-something year old prescription drug-addicts.)

Hah! Yeah, I've been trying to distance myself from two of my prescriptions.
However, if I cut another two out, I will, in fact, die a horrible death. A death that involves my blood congealing in my veins while I'm still alive, along with a wicked case of kidney failure, dementia, and all that good stuff.
However, the fifth is temporary. I got sick while I was in Kansas.
I actually don't need to take any vitamins...I have the world's greatest diet.
If anything, I need to get more protein into the system. That way, I can look like an ass when I give directions to the beach.

No, I refuse to feed my body with that kind of filth unless:

    1. I don't feel good.
    2. I have a headache.
    3. A doctor told me to.
    4. And the list goes on..

I voted "No", but I do take benadryl at night to help me sleep. Otherwise I have the habbit of turning nocturnal.

Diabetes, Maximus. I have juvenile diabetes, and right now, my body produces none of its own insulin. If I choose to not take insulin (a bad idea), my blood will become thick and syrupy from the amount of sugar it would contain. The thick, syrupy blood in my body will become drastically inefficient in carrying oxygen, and I will suffer hallucinations, as well as severely impaired motor skills, and all around dementia. My kidneys, awash with this "solution" of bodily fluids, hemoglobin, and simple sugars, will die from over-exertion.
It takes a long time. If I was to let this happen for about two days, maybe one, I'd be lucky to end up brain damaged.
What's funny about this (funny to me), is that I'm the first and only person in my family to develop diabetes. I'm a mutant.
Think X-men, except instead of powers, you get uncurable (but sometimes treatable) diseases.
Wow, looking back at that, I'm sorry to get all serious and grim about it.

Damn, that sucks. Its actually becoming quite common in the States now, both the sugar and the insulin, though people are getting the second one later in life. My step-dad's got it now, but he just passes out once in a while if he doesn't keep up with his meds.

Yeah, it seems to be on an upward slope, along with the average weight circumference of our people.
Tragic, really. If people just lost the weight, they'd lower their risk (of developing diabetes) by up to 60%.
Again, I scorn the obese. Except for two people; a family member and a good friend. But that's it! No one else gets on my good side!

I just take the occasional 800mg ibuprophen. The army gives that stuff out like candy.

Its not even the obese, but rather those who are just overweight, and dont get exercise. I blame n1ntend0 and what not for making kids into blobs now days. Child obesity is skyrocketing for this very reason.
When I was a kid, we spent every minute possible outside. Nowdays, you cant even get them out the front door. And dont even try having a thumb-war with them, they'll crush you with their xb@x thumbs!

I don't think they give doses that high in a single pill to civilians...
Just like the new bug repellant my friend's dad invented. He sells the watered down crap to Wal-Mart, and the pure mix to the army.
You spray it on your clothes and it lasts for two weeks, and every bug you see in your path will either fall to the ground, dead, or get the hell out of your way.

Yeah! 800mg of motrin fixes just about everything, from back pain to pregnancy. At least until it wears off and the feeling returns to your extremities.

I took one for a headache today. In completely unrelated news, I also had a sudden and intense dizzy spell that dropped me to the floor.
