    I pronounce like the British would utter the "a" in "far", but that's because Swedish is just class like that.

    Who the hell still uses Helmholtz notation? Not wayne-scales, clearly, otherwise he'd know that A' is never written - the sequence goes A,, A, A a a' a'' a'''. Thus I win.

    As to how the prime or sub-prime marks are pronounced, I have no idea, since I've never heard of this notation before. And since I know everything worth knowing, I declare Helmholtz notation to be obscure and outdated, and thus I win, again.

    A' is a recognized variant of A, and is used in some counterpoint textbooks; like the way the English system uses multiple letters and stuff.

    Also the other thing I said.
