How do you get to Black Root?

I'm trying to get to black root, but everytime I select it on the map, no matter where I am, it says my path is blocked. Am I missing something? Where do I need to go to get there?

 

to travel anywhere by map waypoints you need a direct line of sight so to speak so move around whatever is between you and blackroot or you just need to go over the bridge to get across the river, good luck, it's not that hard a problem now is it?

 

Anywhere you click on the map? I think the problem might be that you're in Shrouded Hills and you haven't unlocked the bridge yet? If so, wander over to the bridge behind the temple and either kill Lukan (good) or do his quest (evil). If I'm wrong and you still seem to have a chronic problem not finding it, you can always just take the train from Tarant!

 

Once you have completed the shrouded hills quest you should be able to travel by foot to Blackroot. but you must first take a waypoint to the bridge then take a waypoint over the bridge. Once this is done you should be able to get to Blackroot with no problems.

 

Where are you now? Please make it clearer. Sometimes when your not in Shrouded Hills but ur path still gets blocked. Therefore you need to select a different route. If your still in Shrouded Hills, then you probably havent chased Lukan from the bridge.

 

Ahhh -the train

You need to take the train to BlackRoot -no other way there apparently. A stiff fee too! over 200 gold to get there.

 

Unless your game is messed up, there are plenty of other ways. Boat for one... I'm confused. Was Blackroot on your map already, or were you just looking for it? Now that you've been there can you walk there?

 

Just play with the world map. It often depends on the angle of your travel when negotiating rock outcroppings, coastline, and bridges.
