How do I read these damn tech books

    I bought 2 tech books but they are just sitting in my inventory right now. How do I read them so that it will increase stats (if thats what they do)? Anyone know how to use these annoying books?

    Hello,
    they work when you just keep 'em in your inventory, they increse your expertise witch is good for schematics you found. the amount they increse is the amount of your int.

    yeah

    hehe what he said, for each book of a topic, it increases your skill in your topic with this formula (your int * number of books) pretty simple. basically you by 10 of each (not cheap hehe 80*750 = hmm, alot but thats not the point, ) with base int of 8 and 10 in each you can get 80 skill in anything... works well with found schematiccs... as you can make stuff being a 75 % + mage, like im a pure mage but made all my warriors piro axes.

    easy, but not cheap

    also they weight 200 stones a pop... so stash them in your favorite dresser or whatnought and come back when you need them, don't lug them around w/ you.

    My names jamie,
    haraja is my female char (my girlfriends name is sarah, so i spelt it backwords... haras and then made it pronouncable... hehe.)

    dakun is the name of my rouge/theif type... just a fantasy name i thought up ... actually has no real meaning, but i figured its my char so i'll use if for my board name also.
