how do I install the no level cap?

I can download it fine, but when I go to run it I get one of two messages: where is movie.player exe or that their is no application for that file. I am not a computer whiz I would really appriciate some help

 

Well, first you go to the hints and tricks section of this forum.......

 

Here's a better tip: Don't install it at all, and have a much more challenging and rewarding gaming experience.

 

If you double click the file that you downloaded and the computer is looking for "movieplayer.exe" to open up ZIP files, then your file associations got screwed up somewhere along the way.

I'd say download WinRAR or WinZIP. I prefer WinRAR myself. When you're setting up the program, make sure you tell it to associate ZIP files (and all other compression formats for that matter) with the WinRAR program. Once you do that, double clicking on the file you downloaded should open up the utility so you can extract the files.

EDIT - There'll probably be a small readme.txt or some other small text file inside the ZIP that tells you how to install it. I don't know firsthand because I never used the level uncapper, but that's how it usually goes.

Actually. there is no section for posts like this. This isn't exactly a "gamplay" question nor a module one. It stays here, along with all the dirt of the forum.

Although, if you make a strong enough blow against him, he will then stack the odds in his favour, by deleting your post, replacing it with something else and moving it to the Vault of Folly...like he did for me...

 

That was because what you wrote was a friggin insult right in my face. You took it too far. If anyone would write something like that directed towards anyone else, the same routine would follow.

 

It was all fun and games...I wasn't in a vindictive mood when I wrote that...I was not making a direct attack against you. It was pretty funny though :grin:.
