Is it possible to leave equipment and come back for it later? There's a nice spot (SPOILER AHEAD) under Tarant (where I killed a couple theives). I've put a lot of unnecessary junk in their trunk there, and if I lose it, it isn't anything really important, but I'd be interested to know if it'll still be there later on.

I have left items in the rooms that I stayed at in the inns and it remains there until I return.

Also, at the inn at BlackRoot, if you play your cards right, you can end up "owning" the room, which makes it a convenient "central location" to stack your items and come back for them when you need them.

If you want to do this, when you get to BlackRoot, tell the inn keeper his far for one night is too high. Ask if he has work available. Complete the quest, and try the different responses.

If you select the correct options (I say this as to not spoil the quest for you) you will end up with the room for free for life.

I got this the first time I went there, but I assume only certain answers will get you there.

Also, another place where I keep items stacked away is in the safebox in the Tarant Zoological society. Since only I (any player) holds that key, you can be sure it is safe.

:minigun: Any chest or drawer with the exception of a merchant's can be used to store items indefinitely.

The Black Root room was my favorite spot, too. If you do the quest, as Menkhur outlined above, you get a free place to rest and a convenient storage spot.

The best thing about it was that when you teleport into town, the room is right there. You don't have to walk all over town to retrieve your stuff.

the dresser in the back room of rizztees also works well for storage, just make sure that its the taller one in the corner, not the chest next to his bed that contains the items he sells. also mr ploughs warehouse in tarant works, though its a little annoying to walk to.

You need a reasonable reaction from the innkeeper before he gives you the quest, before yopu talk to the blacksmith about the inn, ask him about how he became a blacksmith then feel symathetic. When yopu get the chest tell the inkeeper you killed the blacksmith, the dialogue options are funny.

If you don't get the chance to the Blackroot Inn quest for the free room, you can still use it as storage.

If you rent a room like you would anywhere else, the door unlocks and stays unlocked. Then you can use the chest all you want. You just can't rest for free.

:minigun: You don't have to rent the room first to use the chest/drawer. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Really? Huh, go figure. I remembered the door being locked, but it's been so long since I played that I'm probably wrong.

The absolute best place I have found to store stuff is Liams Workshop. When you have Teleport, you can go there anytime, you have like four different chests. I always sort my stuff out. Like magical stuff, normal stuff, and what I call "The Bookcase." Plus there is a free bed if you need it. It works wonders....

You're new here so you don't know the rules, but digging up old topics or gravedigging is a big no no here.

Before I post I usually go through about 10 pages and do a search through the other 40+ pages for what I'm Looking for. But for this newbe I sure don't know what gravedigging means!
