I played this game years ago but didn't finis it because it was WAY TOO HARD (I am a fag by the way and love all things hard but this was TOO HARD even for me  ).

But now that I am the butch and not the bitch I found your cozy little corner of the web and have decided to settle in and assume you all share my liberal mindedness and love of loving all creatures great and small :) You have to be careful because some forums only promote HATE  but I know you guys (and gals :) ) wouldn't do that.

So how about I act like everyone cares about who I am and await here to be "showered" [sic] with praise  8) :p

Welcome to the forum newcomer! Please, feel free to use more smilies and make new introductory posts! The best way to start your career here is to gravedig 4 year old posts with "haha i <3 that 2!" as the only additional comment.

Make sure to complete the ensemble with an indignant attitude and an expectation that all of the old-timers owe you something just for showing up!

Alright, while he is annoying (I'll assume you're referring to garm) and I don't want to come in and tell yall how to run the show as I'm new myself, I think this is a little much.

I mean, isn't it supposed to be a place for people who love Troika's games, and other rpgs. Maybe an admin could message him and tell him to cut it out, but I'm sure this spooked a few lurkers waiting to join.

There are people who love poetry. They tend to dress in all black, smoke unfiltered cigarettes and be generally depressed and moody. They relieve their anxiety by cutting their wrists.

There are people who love metal. They tend to dress in band t-shirts, keep their hair long and wear riveted bracelets. Their idea of fun is to play Meshuggah at maximum volume.

There are people who love cars. They tend to be drunk all the time, drive a pimped-up Volvo 240 and do their best to look like Elvis.

Likewise, there are people who love Troika. They tend to be intelligent people who are accustomed to the Internet to the point that they not display the massive fucking retardedness of some recent newbies whose names I shall not reveal at this juncture.

If this spooked them, they didn't have the balls to join in the first place.

Awh, this thread was doing so well at the start.

I'd be appreciative if you all attempted it again.

    Thanks.

Both of those are me :D. Well, if you change Meshuggah to Megadeth.

Wobbler has a good point, this is just the general chat area. We're a bit more sharp here, but things tend to be more civil in the actual Arcanum/whatever sections, which is where most people here post first anyway.

Hmmm you do have a point. As do wobbler and philes. I guess I stand corrected

I guess I feel sort of bad for him as he's trying very hard. I'm sure if I read his religious views on the "right" to die that will pass...

If you like Troika, and you like friendly people, go chat over at the Codex. I hear they're nice. If you want to deal with a bunch of snobby, prickish individuals who don't give a damn about you other than to terrorize you, stay here. Not everyone on this forum is mean, but that doesn't mean we're nice.

Codexers tend to be friendly people until you drop a remark that could be interpreted as if Fallout or PS:T weren't the greatest games ever made. The Hivemind doesn't like that.

We are the Codex, dissent ist verboten. MULTIHEADED DICK SLAPS ASS AND LEG FOR 10 DAMAGE OH GOD ITS HEAVAN!

They do, however, have quite a decent coverage of indie developers and such. Wouldn't have known about Teudogar and Mount & Blade if it wasn't for the Codex. Also, Age of Decadence looks like it could turn out to be promising.

I'm pretty sure DE's ego doesn't need any more inflating Xiao.

I still think he's just blowing smoke up all your asses, but who am I to say? The very existence of this thread confuses the hell out of me. I thought I was reading a hacked Helbokos spam-a-thon again.

Whaddaya mean, descended? Beer's the great social leveller!

*starts singing the 'Beer' song from Bard's Tale*

The fact that I don't drink booze has nothing to do with it. I like watching smart-arses get drunk, it amuses the hell out of me. (Oh god. I just had a mental image of Lezard Valeth drunk out of his mind. OW. >_<)
