    I partially agree with the other Americans in this thread in that America is pretty great and I don't want to leave.

    As far as Bush goes, I'm a registered republican and I voted for the man and even I'm now getting a little tired of him.

    Anyway, in hindsight you can say the Vietnam war was unnecessary, because they lost and all, but IF communism had spread, the world would've been pretty fucked up.

    As for the Iraq war, sure, it's unnecessary, and sure the American public were mislead, even the government perhaps, but what IF they'd have nukes... I sure as hell wouldn't want to live in a world with nuclear capable fundamentalists. (Of course we already do that, yes I'm referring to Bush, but I don't care cause he's not even a potential enemy.) It's bad enough that Israel has nukes.

    I hope Israel nukes Iran. I read a news article that they were talking to the U.S. about permission to use U.S. controlled airspace in Iraq for a possible strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.

    Yeah, I read that too, but do we really want a nuclear war?

    Sure, rather now, than after Iran manages to get nukes of their own, but nukes are really some nasty shit.

    No, the last thing we would need now is a nuclear war, we have lots of problems as it is for the moment.

    Of course Iran can have nukes if the rest of the world are allowed to have them.
