Shit... It probably came from one of his movies. I couldn't tell you which, though. If you really want to know, check Jack Nicholson's www.imdb.com entry and cross reference the memorable lines from all of his more famous movies. Eventually you'll come up with it. That is unless I'm wrong and it's just a quote of his from some interview. I don't know, try googling for "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy" and see what turns up.
'The Shining' A book originally by Stephen King, made into a movie on several occasions, with one of the more notable versions staring Jack Nicholson. At least that what I think it is. Never actually seen it myself. Not a big fan of horror movies.
Right you are, JAGeek. I was thinking The Shining, too, so I checked the IMDB real quick. Here's the quote down towards the bottom.
OMG typing "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy" yeilded almost 9K results. And thanks it is the shining Can a mod come by and delete this thread since it is no longer of any use?
Yeah. That's going to happen. Uh-huh. I cannot recall a single thread, no matter how ridiculous and stupid, being deleted before, so I doubt this is going to be any sort of precedent. That said, I'm more than happy to be proved wrong, because this thread is an utter waste of time and bandwidth.
Hold on please... Who wrote this quote? "Be nice to people on your way up because you might need them on your way down" Who wrote this? Sorry to get off topic or derail this thread.
