Help with the Void (SPOILERS)

Okay, since this is my second time through the game, I should have known better BUT... I went to The Void without the Vendigroth Device. I can't seem to kill Kerghan, because without the device, he just retreats into his shell and I can't do any damage. I don't have a save outside the Vois so I'm wondering if there's a way I can still kill him. If not, can I add the code for the device into the editor and have it pop into my inventory? I've looked everywhere for the code, but can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated; I've looked everywhere for some way around this problem. And yes, I know it was stupid of me. I'm playing as an evil character, and I just handed the dumb thing right over to K'an Hua without ever thinking twice about it.

 

There is a sword in the Void you can use to kill him, Kyrghid's Falchion or something like that. I believe it's outside of Kerghan's fortress. *brain fade* Or you could just join with him, that's the really evil thing to do.

Thank you so much! I had never noticed the cave, thus I had overlooked the weapon. It worked and I got my evil ending. For the record, I had joined with Kerghan before, which is why I wanted to kill him this time. Thanks again.

 

Where exactly is this cave? I never found it...

 

Hey, you're the moderator... strange.

Are you serious? Well......when you appear in front of the bridge of Kerghan's Castle, instead of crossing go to the teleport that you use to fin the other banished guys. When you appear in a landmass with no creatures, walk SW and you'll see a rocky stair down to a cave entrance and there after fighting lizards and Arayas you'll find Kryygird's Falchion.

Give it to the Bane to get a special ending.

BTW, I only finished Arcanum once before. I replayed it a gazillion times though, giving up the character sooner or later.

 

I see. Well, you might want to see that sword...... oh, you know what would make the game super-fun to you? Play with an evil character: I know of a perfect weapon for that. You won't regret, if you play it!

 

I'm doing what you said just know. With a "sold your soul" background. Damn, All those Caladonian people slaughtered after I got rid of that Idiot King Farad. I'm not a slaughterer though, I'm playing as civil as I can be, but I won't let people talk to my face as they like to do in Arcanum. I'm getting near the scourge... Very near, I can hear it calling...
