Help with Permanent Orange Circle on Followers

I had this happen earlier with Virgil and he stopped fighting for me. Now it is happened with Magnus. I have removed all of his items and cannot see anything else that would make it happen.
What am I missing?

what do u mean by permanat orange circle

cause i hade an item on Raven that kept lowering her fatugue and so what i learned always get rid of your orange items

 

I think he means the follower's reaction.

On the normal play screen, Magnus has an orange circle around his feet all the time. Like the circles that appear when you go into turn based mode.

 

It means suspicious

 

did you put a potion/spell on your follower/followers ? cuz, say, you use hasten on them/yourself, you'll see an orange circle(gear-like). in your case, it seems you have a spell/spells on. check the top of your screen if you have spells that are in use.
