HELP! Follower reactions getting freaky!!

Here's my problem, maybe you can help me out:
I'm in the black mountain mines, I've got Jayna, Virgil, Sogg and the Dog when suddenly the dog's reaction goes down to -1000 for no reason. My alignment is 60 +...then I notice that all my followers reactions have gone down to 33 or so and Sog is threatening to leave. What's up with this? I've got a Beauty of 11 for my half elf character, she's an electrical engineer, and wearing dragon skin armor. I'm not cursed either so what's going down? I don't really want to have to restart the game AGAIN >.<;;

note: Jayna IS wearing a suit of dread armor...

Dog's reaction had gone to -1000? You have most likely attacked him by accident. Dogs don't like being kicked around, even by owners.

 

Hello newbie, :wavey: Are you patched?, if not look on the main page for the 1074 patch in downloads i assume, that should fix it.

 

I'll try the patch, was there a defect or something in the game? I never did install one..boy am I an idiot I swear....

I don't think I attacked him since he was in the other room and came running in behind the party
:cry: and I really liked him too! (Sogg flattened him because I could get a #back off command in)

Oh yeah...one other question: how exactly does one install a patch? I've never had to do that before I knowing me I'd totally mess it up...oy.... :/

 

Download it, unzip it:- (right click from a folder to your desktop, click extract), open the unzipped folder and double click on the exe icon and follow the prompt's.

 

if that doesn't fix it then attempt going to an earlier save, and remove the dread armor, and see if that fixes it... I've had ppl go berserk on me b/c of Dread armor....

 

i once attacked virgil and pressed F5(back off) and suddenly his reaction was boosted to 1000

 

In an unpatched game, if an enimy archer misses his target, & hits someone else in the party, that someone else thinks it was you who did it. Perhaps the single biggest problem in the unpatched game. Happens a lot in the BMC mines. Lousy Kite archers. Low light.

And on the patch, if you have more than one hard drive, or a partition, make sure the path is correct. That is, is it going to the drive the game is on?
