The game I want is Civil War Generals 2, by Sierra. It was released in 1997. The first game in the series was Robert E. Lee: Civil War General. It seems that this game is outta print (obviously) and no one sells it anymore that I can find. But you guys, with your uber |337 search skills can find anything if it's out there, so.......

GET TO WORK!!!!!!!! Report back to me in 0300 hours, soldier.

I've never bought anything on an online auction before. I don't trust people. It's less than $20 total, though so you won't take much of a loss even if you get ripped off. If you pay with a credit card, you can always get a chargeback if you never recieve your merchandise.

retard, this is like saying "report back to me in 3:00 am hours" If you want your troops to report back in 3 hours just say "report back in 3 hours" :p

    *raises hand*

I have! An Atari Lynx from Australian e-bay. Worked out great. For AUS $20 (about 2 cents US) I got me a nice new (2nd hand) Atari Lynx in great working condition (it was actually in better condition than my old broken one which it was replacing). I also got a new game I didn't have before. Had to pay the $10 for postage so for $30 AUS (3 cents US) I got what I wanted with no problems.

You should be fine. Of course, there's always a risk, but for such a low price, if it doesn't work out, put it down to a bad experience and NEVER DO IT AGAIN!

No, you don't. So please, go away.

I know, I know. I wanted to be reported to at 3:00 a.m. However, Milo completely and totally fucked up. He shall be tied to the stake and given no less than 30 lashes with the horsewhip. :paranoid:

However, I appreciate all the fine help, but I just found out that this game may not work on my system. My uncle, whom I talked to last night, said that he tried to install and play Robert E. Lee Civil War General (Part 1) on his comp and it wouldn't work. So unless there's a way to dumb our systems down to read this software, I won't be getting it.

The proper syntax is "Report back to me at 0300." Hours & AM are redundant.

Learn the whole quotation brfore you run off to Iraq for W. That is a carefuly cropped & small portion of what he said.

    ...............

Well, what is the entire quotation? And who said anything about me running off to war for W? I just saw the quote on another board and I thought it fitting. So....tell me. What is the rest of it? And what exactly kind of insect was it that crawled up .......

    Nebbermind.

Upon your advice, I have looked up the correct quote. It reads, "From time to time, the tree of Liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I still say it's a pretty darn good quote. I'll still leave it in my sig, albeit revised now.

I can think of nothing more honorable than laying down your life for the freedom of your country. I should be so brave.

BUT, back to my game question...

Is there anyway to play older games like this one on Windows ME?

You know, I think I own Civil War or something like that. It has a silver box and that is all I really remembered, I don't remember much of the game cause I was young and it confused me a lot. It might not be the game your are talking about, but I just felt like mensioning it.
