I find it interesting how you guys seem to be isolated from the internet.

Being clueless has nothing to do with oldskoolness.

I'd rather say that it's the realisation that whatever they invent, the Internet will always remain fundamentally the same.

Point in case, at the behest of your latest post I made an excursion to Twitter myself.

And the first thing I found was porn.

You found porn on twitter? And here I was thinking twitter didn't literally suck.

Hi I read the first post and didn't bother with the rest but the moment I read it I knew it was a coffin, anyway if no one in the previous 5 pages didn't answer that then shame on you.

Bell Hooks is not a new person, but something from the past.

I stand corrected, or really I am sitting down when I type this so I would be lying by saying stand. Gah now I am just trying to fill the quota of posts so I can join the popular kids...

It'll never happen though will it?

If the thread is so long that you can't bother reading everything before replying, you have no purpose in replying. If the riddle/user hadn't sucked bawls, this thread would have probably evolved into some sort of "Who Needs a Riddle" thread, and you would look be just one of many people making themselves look stupid by posting the answer to the first riddle.

The answer to which, through some stretch of logic, is actually HellBokos.

Dark Elf: Twitter, from what I understand, is actually like Facebook, except instead of a bunch of social networking, it is just the 'status update' feature. Basically, it's for narcissistic people who believe everybody wants an update on their phone informing them "John twitters 'My girlfriend and I just made a salad and now we are eating it'". Interestingly, only 11 percent of the users are in the 12-17 range, the large majority being older adults who haven't used a social networking site before (according to Wikipedia, at any rate). Twitter has received a lot of attention in American culture, because a number of celebrities have taken up using it. Instead of having to buy a magazine or turn on your TV at 4:00 PM to find out what Oprah is thinking about, now she'll send it to your phone any time of the day!

    Here is the wiki article.

My favorite part is that, recently, the site has received so much traffic that the coding on the website is starting to fail.

The person who buys He who loves Frigo's pictures doesn't need it.
The person who makes He who loves Frigo's pictures doesn't want it.
The person who uses He who loves Frigo's pictures doesn't know it.

    That's just fucking disturbing, man.

    Thank you.

I've been investigating the Twitter-porn relationship a bit more, and unfortunately, the incredibly tastefully named http://www.twatter.com requires a password to be entered.

Oh Zanza, so not a good way to go about it. Also, please don't type stuff like that when my tummy is playing funny buggers, it's a prime way to wind up with my bile all over your shoes. And I'm not talking metaphorically here, either.

I still like the idea of dressing up like Edward, going to the movie showing, and blowing a load into some twitard afterwards. To steal a saying from a friend, "I'd be the smartest thing to ever come out of her."

I'm still wondering where I can get glitter that's safe to consume.

Well, there's always gold. It is chemically inert and safe to consume. Might bite a chunk off of the paycheck though.
