Somebody please tell me the use of this skill? I've got two healers in my party and I don't see why I would need the heal skill.
this healing skill is "neutral" :it can heal both technological and magical chars. Just give healing kits to virgil. This skill is useful if you have magical healers like Dante/Smythe/Raven and if you have a technological guy in your party.
During the heat of battle, especially when facing multiple foes, healing yourself is often necessary. Using healing salves and potions can see you through; however with a developed healing skill you may use bandages (healing kits). These kits are not reliable unless your skill is at least advanced to Expert. True enough, Virgil can use these kits; however he frequently fails and therefore requires many more in his inventory. Since merchants usually only have one or two as inventory, this can prove problematic. On the flip side, if your character is more magical than technical, Virgil's healings will be with spells and rarely fail. Bottom line, if you are running a tech or have high tech followers and have the skill points to spare, Healing is a very advantageous skill. Mastery may be attained in the Elven tree city of Quinterra.
