Hey when I go to the lower wards, and go back into the Alley of Lingering Sighs, how in the world do I get back to the Lower Wards?

(If you don't remember, the lower wards are where you go when you kill the dabus, and then use the hammer and prybar to fix the places on the buildings for that face in the wall, he then allows you to go to the lower wards.)

Secondly, in my "tomb" that I found in the drowned nations, one of the plaques on the wall said, "Don't trust the skull." Should I?

 

Well, I don't remember how to get back to the lower wards from the alley of lingering sighs. You may just have to go throught the portal again. "The portal" being the one that Annah showed you how to go through. The one that leads you through the house with all the Thieves in it.

That's up to you. Ask Morte about the whole thing and decide for yourself.

 

But remember? That portal that Anna showed me just took me to that house of theives, and then to the alley of lingering sighs.... ??

Also, I tried to talk to Morte about it, but I wasn't given an option in my dialouge that ran in that direction.

I don't think you understood. (maybe I don't understand you) Either way, I am now in the lower wards. If I go back to the Hive, I can't seem to make my way back to the Lower Wards.....How can I? From the Lower Wards, you can go back to the Alley of Lingering Sighs, but I'm buggered as to how I can get back in the lower wards........

Yeah. When I talked to you about me not getting stat points, I had just become a mage. I was something like 3rd level. I am now 7th level, and I have been getting stat points to spend for the last 3-4 levels. Thanks.

I think that only after you make it through Alley of Lingering Sighs to that better part of town you'll be able to go back to the old one. Anyway you can go back for sure.

 

I know how to get back into the alley of lingering sighs. What I'm talking about is I left the Lower Wards, going back into the alley of Ling. Sighs. What my question is is how in the fudge do I get back into the wards from the alley? The "pregnant wall" that first allows you to go into the wards isn't there any longer. How do you get back? I didn't complete any quests in the wards so I wanna get back. How?

Oh, I think I remember which place you're talking about now, retard.

To go back and forth between the lower wards and the other... wards(?), all you have to do is go to the edge of the screen. Once you hit the map screen, you can click on any location and go there automatically.

I think Milo is right though, when you go back from the upper wards you will be sent to the world map. Tell us if you manage it.

 

Right you are. When in the Lower Wards, I walked to the western-most point, and the map screen came up. I clicked on the Alley of Lingering Sighs, and it took me there. However, when I try to get back to the Lower Wards, I can't seem to do it. Are you saying, Milo, that I just need to walk to the edge of the screen, and the map screen will pop up automatically? 'Cause I don't remember that happening in the Alley. Just in the Lower Wards.


By the by, how far along are you now, Milo? Have you beaten the main quest yet?

 

You must've done something bad to your copy of P:T. In my case it was just like Milo presented it IIRC. And I'm not talking about getting back to the alley but to the lower wards themselves.

One thing might be that perhaps you should get mortie back first.

 

I haven't done anything to my copy. Other than install it and run it...

I have him. The first thing I did in the Lower Wards was get him back.

So tell me, dragoon. How are you able to get back into the Lower Wards?

 

Don't remember exactly I just wnet through via tha map. The only place that you can't go back to is further in the game. However you can move around Sigil freely.
