Hey guys, I've recently picked up Arcanum again and thought about playing an half ogre techie specialising in smithing and mechanical, eventually leading me to get the mechanised armour. However when I get to the lightweight chainmail schematic and invest the points into it I can't make an half-ogre sized version of it. My question is, can I make armour from schemtics that will fit my ogre or is there no way that I can possibly do it? Thanks for your repsonses in advance
Yes, I used the appropriate sized armour in my inventory and the schemtic still does not accept the larger size I can do it with normal but not with the other sizes...
My guess is you're trying to construct a featherweight chainmail using a leather guard armor, while the schematic only accepts leather armor.
I had the same problem with my ogre dude coming out of the Black Mountain Mines. So much guard leather!
Guard Leather is the bane of the Technologist :x , guards should be made to wear real leather. My very first play through 1/2 ogre melee dodge beat the game by out dpsing everything in sight with guard armor + shield of protection :lol:
