Well i being a truly civil elf, started talking to Magnus, but for some odd reason the game closed Magnuses dialog and opened up a dialog with a shopkeeper on the other side of wall(Junkmerchant and herbalist shop in Tarant), anyway now when i talk to magnus all he says is good day friend or something like that(due to high beauty) anyway is there a way to reinstate him? i did talked to P&P Sons, and got the info on Gilbert Bates (killed em all anyway), but can i get Magnus somehow back? something like *{talked to magnus=true} to *{talked to magnus=false} or something like that...

    * - Has nothing to do with arcanum scripting, for illustrative porposes only

Um, no. Hate to break it to you, but I haven't heard of anything that can do that. Why do you even want the bastard, he's the most gliched annoying thing in the game.

    Alright, you want examples. Spoilers.

Isle of Despair. I usually put a few points in Be and Ch so more people like me, but I was just going pretty much for combat this time. had 8 ch and 8 be, but all my points were in like melee, or dodge, or spells. I had Virgil and Magnus. I tell em to wait so I can hop into the pit and go to meet Thorvald. I come out. Virgil's fine, but Magnus, who actually had a higher reaction because I once revived him, was getting all bitchy! He didn't want to come back because in the ten game minutes I was gone I had somehow sailed to Tarant, talked to the Schylers, and sailed back. What a reject.

Also, I was in one of those stupid places, Cold Place I think. I was playing a sniper. So I was sniping. And Magnus started getting pissed because "I was attacking such a decent type." Since when are wolves decent types? Stupid bastard left because I shot a dog.

Oh, I forgot, I had Dog on Isle of Despair too, but unlike Magnus, Dog was fine with me leaving for 5 friggin seconds.

    so no Magnus?
    oy goody...

    ZE GRAND SPOILER!

Oi crap, so now me fine elven lady has to wait until i find out what happened to the BMC and then get the King dwarf, oih

btw is it just me or is this because of my super 20 beauty?
I have a realy realy goody-good char, but when i told everyone to wait and asked Ashley What's-his-name (the snob necromancer) to join me he was all game... is it because of the beauty or just that i did'nt have Virgil and the CO with me?

oi regged me-self anyway, but if i can't have the real magnus, then is there a way i could copy him? like insert him into a specific place with worlded?

and about the dog, has anyone had this: I get to Ashbury, and there's a gnome beating the still ALIVE worthless mutt, anyway, i thinking save the dog, go and kill the gnome and heal the mutt, a grave mistake, killed the gnome, healed the mutt, Note the WORTHLESS MUTT, not the dog who you can say come boy and he comes, anyway i had to use two of my character points to learn the 4th level Necromantic Black and Quench Life spell, just that i could kill the Worthless Mutt, without the dog (after i resurrect him) would start attacking me (dunno happened so after i choped the Worthless Mutt blew the sucker away with a hand cannon

oih oih and a another thing, know em rabbits in Vooring or Vooreng or what ever that place was, after i shot one of them i got a Fate point, maybe a glitch, yet to encounter(kill) the blue rabbit oih well, meantime i be spending me Fate Point ;)

The Worthless Mutt IS Dog. He starts out as Worthless Mutt and changes to Dog after he gains experience. Yes, Dog will attack you if YOU kill him. However, if you resurrect him after someone else kills him who is attacking your party when he is a member of it, his reaction to you will increase by 20. Same for just about anyone or anything, except possibly zombies that you make - they just hate you.

As for the blue rabbit, if you encounter him after completing the Stillwater Giant quest for Myrth, that is the REAL Stillwater Giant. You should search the body to get a nice surprise that is worth some real cash. Telling you more would spoil it too much. The only other bunny or rabbit that might give you a fate point would be a Vorpal Bunny and they are tough!

oi what on earth are you on? first the dog thing, i asked if anyone has had that the Worthless Mutt is still alive and a gnome beating him when you get to ashbury, pluss he gets exp for being resurected? i mean the first time i played the game, he was dead by the time i got to Ashbury and it showed:

    Worthless Mutt
    Dead

Resurected him, he became dog, unless you get exp from being resurrected i think he is scripted(or hard-coded) into changing to the Dog.
Anyway so the second time i go around the gnome is there and beating the dog, i open up a dialog with the gnome, ask him why is he beating the worthless mutt, for some reason the dialog closes, he yells at me and charges(odd same thing happend in Tarant, the brothel, where after speaking to the madam lil, she closes the dialog and charges, might it be because of my high beauty? or my even higher alignment point?(+70)

anyway i kill the gnome, and the mutt is still alive, so i kill the mutt with Quenc life, and resurrect him, and voila a Dog, talk to him, he joins me (if i attacked the mutt with a melee weapon, he died, then resurrected him, became dog, Dog was HOSTILE)

About the rabbit, i was in Vooriden, killed a rabbit(some WHITE one, NOT a BLUE rabbit), got a fate point for it, and went on with my buisness, i am still to meet the Giant, kill him and see if i get a fate point(unless that was some special little wabbit, who was put in there just to make the gamers to hunt all the wabbits in the game just to make sure if there is a another fate point or two to be asserteined)

oi, so maybe this clears things up(i am the guest up)

About the necromancer thing. What's your persuasion and Ch, because that will do it. Don't know about 20 be, but it might.

Dog was hostile because you attacked him to kill him. Dog IS Worthless Mutt. Nothing actually happens to the character, just his name. At first your using his unknown name, then, I don't know exactly when, you start using his known name. If you attacked him then ressurected him, he still hates you. It's like if I beat you in the head until you dies, then brought you back, you would be mad. I think the trigger for the name change is a location not an event. I usually get Dog while cutting across to where Teach is, and when I pass a certain point Dog's name changes. I don't know, maybe it's just the time too, like 15 game minutes pass and his name switches.

It's not your damn Be that makes all that shit happen. Are you patched? Alot of this weird shit might be because your not patched. but there is no way that in a patched game that would happen just because your alignment is 70+, or you have 20 Be.

This clears absolutly nothing up really, you use horrible grammar and I almost wanted to beat myself in the head than finish trying to understand your post.

If you want to put Magnus in a mod, go for it. He has a level scheme. Get his starting stats and remake him. If you just had his scheme even, all you need is a level to start him at.
