In Tarant, I spoke to the fake fortune teller in the rich sector of Tarant who told me to take the real fortune teller's crystal ball. I went to take it, and the gypsy screamed who I was sided with, and I said I was sided with her. I then took her crystal ball to the fake fortune teller and it killed her. Later, after I had saved my game, I realized that the gypsy can give you a blessing of +1 charisma, but I never recieved it. Instead, she gave me the location for the stolen painting. I was wondering if because I began as helping the fake fortune teller instead of the real one, did I cheat myself out of the blessing, or can I still get it? When I talk to her now nothing can be done. If not, I actually feel like cheating just to put it in :\ Is there a character editor that can work on saved games, possibly? Where would I find it? It seems most links I find are broken, and I ended up coming here just as the site was down for an update (to my bad luck). I appreciate any help, and I have absolutely no idea if I spelled gypsy right. -Rhec
Welcome aboard. Here's the savegame editor: http://www.rpgplanet.com/arcanum/tinkerer/tinkerer.shtml#gameeditor2 It's very easy to use too. Enjoy.
You only get the +1 to charisma if you have found the painting first. If fact she tries to tell you about it then realising that you have found it already she gives you the charisma as an alternative bonus.
