Guerilla War Discussion

We (myself and Frigo) have thought what if we make a roleplaying thread about warfare between guerillas and USA / NATO soldiers.

The guerillas are the communist guerillas FARC-EP, who I want to join IRL.
Their base is The Mountains of Colombia.

The USA/NATO soldiers you already know what I mean with.

So, let's get started then. Pick a side and then off to warfare!

Me and the Second infantry Bloc in the guerilla wants to buy some AK's.

 

I'll be the captain of a US Special Forces ODA (Operational Detachment Alpha, or just A Team). Hopefully I really will be that in a couple of years or so. Any more information on the plot and setting? What's cocaine's role here?

 

Well, the guerilla sometimes smuggle cocaine over the borders, but they don't use it themselfs. The producing and distribution of cocaine gave the guerillas $678 million last year.

 

You're a fucking moron if you believe that for a second, cocaine is like cigarettes to them. "They don't use it themselves" is what groups who use it themselves say to make themselves look nice to other people who disapprove of using it themselves.

Sig, does that mean you're Captain Sanchez, or his replacement, or whatnot?

 

This is role-playing, not real life. If I say that the guerillas don't use cocaine, they don't use it.

 

Dunno who Captain Sanchez is, but if he needs a replacement it's Captain Calvo of 6th ODA out of 3rd Special Forces Group.
