    Nah, just something I heard from a friend who was in the Armoured Corps. The modified Leopard 2 tanks of the Swedish army, being vastly superior to whatever the Reds use, could easily gun down hordes of Russian tanks before they even got close enough to do anything.

    Thing is, even if you crush a hundred of them bastards, there will be a thousand more tracking over the debris.

    I was thinking more along the lines of the fur trade in the Asian countries. Either way, it was just an example.

    No one really knows what is going on at this point, so there really isn't much to discuss. I'm sure more will come out in the news soon enough.

    Once you've shaved with a badger hair brush you'll understand why the fur trade is absolutely necessary.

    The proof;

    During WWII the Tiger tank was vastly superior to the russian T95 (I think it was T95, can't remember exacly).

    Around 5000-6000 tiger tanks was made during the whole World war, the russian produced around 60.000 T95 each year.

    The problem with the Tiger wasn't necessarily due to sheer quantity though, the reason why it eventually failed was due to it being a far too complex machine for it's day. A fully functional Tiger could turn battalions of Russians into shreds far outside of the effective range of the T34's.

    The Germans, however, were in a hurry to get the tanks out to the front and therefore they never tested them before delivery, with disastrous results. When things broke down, engineers often didn't know how to fix it, and getting spare parts out to the field became a problem.

    It's ironic that while technology gives you an upper edge, you should likewise try to keep the stuff your bring out on the battlefield as low-tech as possible.
