Graphics card Driver Query

If the card is an 'ATI Rage Pro Turbo' is ATI's site the best site for getting a driver upgrade or is there another site that would likely sport a newer version?

 

Yes, ATI's site is the best place for an upgrade, since they're the ones who make the drivers :razz:

 

Thanks, Xero. I thought so, but there's always somebody doing upgrades on older boards and its not necessarily the manufacturer. Just wanted to make sure that wasn't so.

 

I have a rage 128 board, and I downladed a 7.4 meg driver at the ATI site.

It didn`t work..at all!
When I rebooted after installing the driver the computer started to reboot, the windows loadingscreen appeared and then it suddenly came up with the "it`s now safe to turn off your computer.

Yes it was the correct driver, and yes I installed it correctly.

graphics drivers never works........ well, almost never.....
