I can't tan properly, so I just end up burning. And my skin regenerates to the point before the burn, so I don't have any increased melanin content. I guess it's more common among gingers and semi-gingers like myself. That and skin cancer.

Jesus, mathboy...your face was priceless!
Like some sort of, "I got what you need," face.

Heh, I fell asleep on the beach once, and I tell you, it was easily one of the worst things I've ever done in all of my life. I was all red, my skin was all burning and simply touching it was so painful I wanted to scream like a 9-year-old girl. When I got home, I had shivers.
When I woke up the following morning, I had pus running down my face, and later on I shed the skin on my upper body as if though I was some kind of snake. I simply can't believe I didn't develop skin cancer.

Did mathboy have a date with Mary Jane?

Math you look like you're sleep walking with a camera and dreaming you're a nutrient deprived runway model for Vogue Magazine.

Just came home long enough to pay some bills, then I heading back to Seattle.

The company's got me and five other former constuction workers-turned-maintanence men rebuilding an apartment complex that the Hazmat guys gutted while cleaning up after a "floating" meth lab.
The first three days we were there though, you'd thought that the place was an ER with all the moaning and groaning we we doing. It's been a while since we've worked this hard. heh.

I having a good time though - prowling around my old haunts, seeing what's still there and what's not.
The folks that bought my old house did a great job on rebuilding it. Other than the color and a swingset in the yard, it looks just like it did in '94.

    We had a chance before?

You'd shit if I managed to do that.

Well, I'm gone again. Catch y'all later!

Where in Seattle did you live? I keep residence in the hills not far from there.

...though on the opposite side of the water from Quethim.

    Home for the weekend. :)

My wife and I lived in Des Moines* from '89 to '94, then in various RV parks in Kent for a year.
After that, we moved to Sisters, Oregon for a drier climate.

*A small town halfway between Seattle and Tacoma.
If you can find a map that lists Midway, head west towards the Sound.

Kent sucks almost as much as Des Moines. At least you'ren't in the ghetto [Renton!]... I'm in the mountains, right near Snoqualmie Pass. ^_^
