I've done the three circles and explored Vendrigoth. How do you sacrifice yourself?

 

Just put yourself in the position to be sacrificed.

 

walk on the alter. you also get a neat result even if you have not finished all three circles.

 

Yeah, just walk onto the altar. If you have joined the three circles, you will automatically be resurrected with the final blessing. However, when your awe-inspired followers attempt to duplicate your results, hmmm, they die and do not get resurrected by Velorien...how sad. Be sure to watch out for that.

To my knowledge, you won't be RES'd unless you have a follower with a scroll or Restore Life. For instance, I went solo, sacrificed, and stayed very dead. I had completed all circles and had a RL potion in my pack.
